I was it just seems the guide maker is a STUBBORN brat missing a step

11.Copy boot9strap.firm and boot9strap.firm.sha from the boot9strap .zip to the /boot9strap/ folder on your SD card
12.Re download Luma v7.1 and copy the boot.firm to the root of your SD card
13.Reinsert your SD card into your device

I had a error couldnt figure out why after following to a t KunoichiZ told me to redownload Luma 7.1 so technically it shuld be in the steps after Copy boot9strap.firm and boot9strap.firm.sha from the boot9strap .zip to the /boot9strap/ folder on your SD card
this step was not in there but helped out greatly:
12.Re download Luma v7.1 and copy the boot.firm to the root of your SD card

Step 3 of Section I - "Leave the old (v7.1) version of Luma3DS (boot.firm) as it is. You will update this later."
If you read through the guide carefully you won't face any issues.

Sorry, but this is your fault. The guide says to copy the boot.firm AT A LATER STEP. It also doesn't say to redownload 7.1 because it says at the very top with all the files, to download THE LATEST LUMA RELEASE, so it obviously wants you to use that one...
