Can't wait. The only way it could be better is if it could integrate with Rosalina, but NTR is still cool
EDIT; There's probably small tweaks that could be made to make it better too, but that's the one on the front of my mind xd
Thanks guys !
Yeah there's things that can we tweaked and other things that needs to be rewritten. But since it's a learning project for me, if I wait until I find it almost perfect, it might never be released... xp
I guess it'll be okay for a beta, and I'll improve everything that need to be for futures versions
As for Rosalina, I would gladly port CTRPF to it when / if it allows to load plugins, on the condition that it have the same limits and allows me to init what's needed for CTRPF.
Hmm, we found some annoying bugs that leads to crashs last we. Because of that there will be a little more delay so I can fix the bugs. But in any case, beta will come really soon.
Oh, btw, i have a question. How do you boot it? Do you boot it in a similiar way to how you boot NTR? Is the payload in the .cia romfs? Do you boot it via a .firm patch?
For now is under the form of a NTR plugin. But if one day Rosalina implement a plugin loader with the same liberties as NTR, then I'll port it to it. CTRPF isn't really NTR dependent, it "just" needs to be loaded inside the game, so depending on that hypothetical Rosalina's plugin loader, it might be really easy to port it.
Actually, i got another question for the cheat function. Will it support gateshark2ntr plugin files, or gateshark txt? Maybe Gateshark2NTR2CTRPluginFramework or Gateshark2CTRPluginFramework?
It's an entirely new lib, nothing alike libShark2NTR. On the beta, the ActionReplay part isn't available yet, so only the built-in cheats (by dev), Searcher and the Free Cheats features will be available (see my Fantasy Life 3.0 preview to more infos on FreeCheats).
However, the end goal is to load Action Replay's cheats from a .txt directly on the 3DS, with a full editor on the menu, to create / edit / remove AR Code without the need of a computer.
Hmm, when I say AR code I mean the code syntax. Gateshark use the Action Replay's code type, so all their codes will be compatible of course. The AR3DS thing on Fort42 was called like that because it uses the AR code type too, but the way it works is different and I don't mean this when I say Action Replay. ^^
