Buy fieldrunners on the new 3ds, system transfer it to your banned 3ds, install the save, and re-do a system transfer, downgrade your new 3ds.

hmm... it sounds like my new3DS... did you try cleaning the SDCard slot? or the SDCard itself? there may be something in the mechanism that doesn't allow it to move/click properly. sadly on the new3DS the hole is too small to clean :/ you may have better luck w/ your old3DS
