if you *already* have a gateway card, there's no harm still using it. rxtools is the one really outdated.

if you're on 9.2 with menuhax or whatever, it takes about a minute or less to switch anyway. just point your boot manager to "Luma3DS.dat" and use it.

I'm already a luma (oothax) user and I'm just trying to explain rxtools user point of view since I still use rxtools also

even then I would still say take the minute to put one file on your SD card and edit your boot manager to use it instead, then you already have something better.

it only takes one or two minutes to get to something better, more supported, and updated more frequently than zero. so there's really no reason to stay behind on rxtools anymore.

You also have to remember that sometimes people are lazy and wont decide to change until it is really necessary.
