i looked into grapheneos myself. id love to have it, but google phones are so insanely unappealing. really overpriced, very little storage for the price and the soc is really weak with very little generational improvements.
and theyre so, sooo pricey.

Apps blocking the most secure third-party OS for "security reasons" are just ridiculous.

To not directly support Google, I bought a used (like new) Pixel 8a almost two years ago.

An awesome operating system, dreadful fragile, not energy efficient hardware (7 -10 days between charging while my €150 year 2020 rugged phone lasts about 3 weeks with a battery of the same size).
