My bank only has 2-3 days delay if transactions are done during the weekend.
Otherwise it's likely to be within the same hour.
And yes this is a bullshit made up excuse to fuck me over with bills that could not be paid before a Friday night at 11:00 PM.
Also as a Canadian I can tell you free healthcares suck.
Yes they are free but you will be in for a long time waiting to just get seen for scheduling an appointment 3 months later.
In private clinics you get excellent healthcares but they are not cheap, so if you are broke like me it's pain.
Our free healthcare is a mixed bag. You can see a GP whenever, no waiting or appointments, and any critical tests are done immediately, but eyes on the other hand are apparently considered non-essential because you have to wait half a year for an ophthalmologist.
We have decent walk in urgant care clinics in my area for flu or pain symptoms. Going to ER should be last resort even they can take over an hour to get you checked in unless it's more urgant like a bullet wound or chest problems go by ambulance.
@x65943 aren't you a doctor? I would have expected healthcare workers be treated in priority since they themselves provide healthcares to the general population.
I would have expected a Doctor working somewhere in the hospital to be able to get a checkup done by a fellow co-doctor betwen 2 patients whenever it's possible.
Maybe I'm just ignorant about how any of this stuff works, I'm surprised if a doctor couldn't get healthcares provided as part of the perks for getting the job.
