Also change those stupid item names, also it says "Item added to Assets" instead it should just be "Item added to Items"
Also Notebook is a Laptop ect.
In the panel-flipping matching minigame, it just shows the item or person's name, not "It's [name]" or "It's a/an [item]." This might be because the original Japanese version left out that detail, handling it through code instead of text. If it's text-based, "It's [name/item]" works better, especially for Miis. I've seen other cases like this too. Honestly, I might just make my own translation.
Changes:
tmd_item_msg_JP.bmg
Line 353: "Cherry" to "Cherries". Reason: A singular cherry would only have 1, but the sprite shows 2.
Line 617: "Hamburg" to "Hamburg Steak". Reason: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hamburg_steak
Line 689: "Macadamia" to "Macadamia Nuts" Reason: No one says Macadamia unless you're saying Macadamias
Line 803: "Fan" to "Uchiwa Fan" Reason: It's specifically a uchiwa fan.
Line 893: "Stink Sock" to "Stinky Sock" Reason: adjective makes sense now.
Line 965: "Snow Dome" to "Snow Globe" Reason: No one calls them Snow Domes
Line 1115: "Birth Cord" to "Umbilical Cord" Reason: No one calls them birth cords.
Line: 1127: "Scratcher" to "Back Scratcher" Reason: No one calls them scratchers, and it's clearly a back scratcher.
BTW I remembered that the vacation lines for places are like super rushed of how JJEWEL translated them, there is like only 1 line and it barely describes the location the Miis are at.
Also Notebook is a Laptop ect.
