Shantae Advance: Risky Revolution, is a game what was stored on old hardrives and hasn't see the light of the world for 20 years.

this year was released as a Game Boy Advance Cartridge with a patch because the original game was made to use a EEPROM save but the released cartridge uses FRAM, our mate @Wokann have a post about the issue

The Switch version will be like Shantae and Shantae Half-Genie Hero Ultimate Edition what are the original ROM on an emulator on a nice layer.

Don't bother buying a physical cartridge from LRG. They use incredibly cheap AliExpress PCBs with recycled old parts that aren't the best quality. Many reports of people who have them, had lost their save data and sudden crashes occur midway. This is by far very deceiving from a well known company. You might as well use this on a flashcart or emulate the game on an Anbernic.

yes mainly because they patched the ROM to «work» on the cartridge but the patch is for another one... the temper @Wokann do an exceptional work undoing the patch and creating new patches for different types of cartridges.

At least the cartridge on the game is of the best quality

@JuanMena no se si un completista pero mi tara de no dejar nada sin recorrer si la tengo, Como les comentaba encontré dos bugs muy raros,

Primero en la fosa de los orcos (Orc Orchard) en el mundo trasero hay un punto en el cual supongo no deberías entrar si no tienes el mono o por lo menos el confite de salida (Exit Candy) pues una vez estás ahí solo puedes salir si tienes el monito.

Entrar no es fácil, hay que saltar desde puntos muy exactos
