I started panicking (like, I was really scared) and pushed the POWER button. The LEDS turned on but the screen was still pitch black for 15 seconds. When I was already on the verge of tears, the PC made a loud ass BEEP sound (that I had never heard before) which startled me, and then showed another screen saying ''Finalizing BIOS update''. Then after a few minutes it loaded Windows. I'll never do this again. (2/2).

It does restart. You need to wait 1, or even 5 whole minutes while the BIOS update is running, while in this half-dead state.
As for the beep sound, yeah, it does jumpscare me as well. Although that only happens when I try to interrupt the process.
Be more patient, make a tea or something while it's updating.
