(bit early post) Stargate 3DS arrived in the post about a week ago. It can play the Pokemon games (converted to card-2) as well every single game I could fit onto the microSD card. My biggest issue, however (which I wasn't sure anybody encountered), was that the Stargate that I have does not save progress. [1/2]

SPI flash for the save worked fine. It would save my progress onto the chip, but each time I launch another game, it would tell me that the save was corrupted and would not load up any RAW (.SAV) files from the microSD. Some users suggest that it could be down to the poor implementation of the exFAT driver, but that's up to anybody to debate. [2/2]

interesting, when i get some time ill test mine and see if i have the same issue with saving. wouldnt be surprised given its from aliexpress.

@plasma I wouldn't be surprised either. Bought them from NDS-Card who used to be GBAtemp's sponsor. They probably had a lot of these bare Stargate flashcarts in bulk, applied some new stickers on them, doesn't come with the box as they don't make them anymore.

yeah it does seem like bulk, mine came in a plastic insert iirc, but if it doesnt save im not too bothered, i still have a gateway i bought when they came out and managed to acquire a sky3ds and sky3ds+ cart
