HI. I think you already know the answer. The pizza purchased in a pizzeria, made and cooked on the spot (with quality ingredients, and toppings with seasonal and local vegetables) has greater value, and is healthier, than those you mentioned (good for those who cannot afford the first, but obviously less delicious and of uncontrolled origin). 🤷

Do you know what is done in a specific pizzeria? Your description tells what it should be.
I've been often disappointed by the taste and quality of overly expensive restaurant stuff.
What if it is like Panucci's Pizza (Futurama) →
:rofl2:

It is surely different for you. On my only trip to Italy I hardly stopped eating

For the basic dough: sourdough starter (non-chemical), stone-ground durum wheat flour (wholemeal) (unrefined), real extra virgin olive oil (unadulterated). For the condiment: original mozzarella (preferably buffalo mozzarella), courgettes, aubergines, mushrooms, ham, salami, etc. all of quality and produced near the pizzeria (especially not produced abroad).

I had to cycle a whole lot uphill to order my prescription drugs (they are simply available this time → that's something new) and took the opportunity to buy some pizza at the vending machine which is also up there. Just to show you some images. A simple margherita and a prosciutto.

Was very good :)
