Delicate topic. Obviously parents should have an interest in the problems of their teenage children, while naturally teenagers want to gradually become independent.

Really unfortunate. But even for almost grown up kids parents should be protective sometimes.

When parents don't look close enough thing like this can happen:

As for laws: No idea. You will have to look that up. There are certainly things a therapist or a doctor must tell the parents.

Having no trust into a therapist voids anything the therapy could possibly accomplish.

Puberty is a :shit: time if you ask me. Both for the teenager and the parents. That is the reason why I gave a "😡" for @Nikokaro here.

A really one-sided and short-sighted, but sadly common, point of view on the topic.

Stay strong, pal.

Lad, the therapist is ethically (and here also legally) obliged to professional secrecy. He can give explanations in general terms to the parent, without violating the patient's privacy. You should demand this beforehand; if he refuses, change psychologist due to lack of trust.

@Nikokaro I don't think I can change therapist since mine works at the same clinic as my mom does
