Consoles are supposed to be fun, right? I know that Nintendo is also just like them in the sense that they have issues that make them just as worse as Sony/Microsoft but one thing that i can definitely say about them is... i know they wouldn't be dumb enough to make their new console this pricey.

Although im saying this, i am aware of the shady business practices that Nintendo has been known for for a while. Normalizing 60$ AAA games, having the Joy Con Drift, and of course, banning Swich emulators (even if I've hated using Yuzu, Suyu, etc)

Every Sony and Xbox console (even going back to the originals) is basically just a box that plays games

The last non Nintendo console to try something really new was Dreamcast with its vmu and online gaming - since then it's all copy and paste

Except Nintendo which is out here doing crazy stuff (not always good)

Only thing I appreciate Nintendo for doing is to keep being itself. That itself also comes with its fair share of issues, but the more that I see the practice, the more it makes me happy that they're not turning to be what Sony and Microsoft present themselves to ne nowadays. I almost want to say that MS can go fuck themselves LOL

I mean, the PS3 was a good DVD player as well, back in the day when that was relevant...

I liked the OG Xbox and 360, that said, Microsoft sucks and they ruined so many good studios it's honestly sad

PS2 was a good DVD player, PS3 also but more known for Blu-rays

That said if you hacked your Wii you could play dvd-R and I did back in the day

The PS3 and Xbox 360 where the last of the two consoles from those companies that actually had a personality. From that point on, it's mostly been just the same old games trying to be played on the differen console with little to no change than the buttons you have to press.

Only exclusive game other than Astro Bot and his Playroom that are gold exclusives is Project DIVA.

I wished that I was there for the times that the Wii was popular to mod and such. Maybe then I'll be able to receive better help with moddi g my system than what I have nowadays. While I have gotten things to work, there have still been some issues with certain stuff and after talking about it in the WiilInk server, 》

it came to a conclusion that the programming just needed to be fixed up at the end for certain applications.

It was so exciting burning Wii discs and running back ups from DVDs back then, but the load time was doubled due to DVDs running slower

While the 360 was home for Beahtiful Katamari, the PS3 was home for the whole Project DIVA series and Katamari Forever, a game that I've had a bunch of fun plsying.

Even the games thay weren't exclusive on the console were just built to be fun, like Sonic generations and Aoul Calibur IV. That game is underrated too and I wished more cared about Soul Calibur.

I played the hell out of soul calibur 2

I haven't played that one yet but I have the game on the GameCube though other means resdy for me to play it sometime soon. Soul Calibur is something that I have been inching towards a little bit of taste into the Traditional Fighting game genre but i never can get myself to playing it.
