Thanks! I appreciate your thoughts on my opinion.

...Sorry, I just had to. You bring up an excellent point; I think the rise of texting/messaging has led to people contracting their responses, leading to replies that lack any real reason to exist (like mine above).

Don't worry, I immediately took what you've done as a joke and followed with it. I just wished that there was more people in life thay would actually genuinely care about something somebody posts to put some thought into what they have to say about what they post. I can understand if they actually don't have anything to say, but..

Back when texts had an actual cost based on length, people had to shorten their replies to save money, and for a lot of people that impulse has never really left. People like brevity over critique.

It seems to me that I'm the only one complimenting stuff and actually giving my genuine thoughts about whatever the latter posts

It might also be due to people not knowing how to respond to creative pieces, as well, since not all of us are 'art critics'. People might just say "that's really good!" because they just don't know how else to reply, really - and I'm guilty of that myself.

@AkiraKurusu Yeah, but we are living in a society where that doesn't really put into affect. Then again, I have a feeling that sites like the usual are the reason people don't rally care about what others have to say because they be looking at 25 different things in a minute

Not all of it has to be related to art though. I mean, in the case that its what they're both related to, then I can imagine the conversation being a little bigger than that, taking into consideration. But within that part, I can't find a single conversation that gets a little bit heated due to disagreeing opinions about certain parts of what they're talking about.

I feel that people have lost touch with reality, the skills to communicate, and the benefit of coming up with something creative. Compliments are great for sure, but simple ones like "Nice" or "That's cool" gives the impression that the person either doesn't know how to reply or that they don't really care about their work. I, myself, find it hard to communicate being that I struggle with disabilities myself.

The only reason I struggle to communicate with others is due to a lack of interst in what everyone is into. Even popular Retro games like Mario 64, Majora's Mask, and other games don't really have me interested in playing them, not to mention some personal complications. Although I don't think those apply because I have been a lot more open to giving those that look at me a shot.

In saying this, and I don't have any disabilities myself. Although I do use words that i don't know the definition sometimes thaylt causes people to be extremely confused.

I can totally relate to that. Lost interest in video games for many years, wanted to pressure myself into playing on my PlayStation again, only to still lack the enthusiasm to do so. I don't think video games have excited me throughout my life, except for when I was a child - I think everybody could agree with that.

The one thing that does keep my passion though, is reviewing games that I have played, and what I'm playing . That keeps me on my high end, and even though I'm starting college tomorrow, I'mg going to always find a way to review a game to keep me from doing nothing.

Sometimes people call me off as an a**hole because of how I word things, or if I'm not participating into discussions because of getting constantly sidetracked, which results in left-to-right calling.

You're hanging out with the wrong people if they go as far as to call youan asshole for simply making a wording mistake.

I've seen that your writing skills has to be your biggest advantage, and I hope you could maybe write out some news for GBAtemp one day. :D

I am reviewing a bunch of them but the following games that I'm actively making a review on: Core Keeper, Magical Drop III, Super Smash Bros Brawl, Sun haven, and a couple others.

SSB is the only title in the Smash series that is actually BETTER than any other Smash title. You get better control over fighting and is popular with tournaments for sure. My advice if you're getting SSB on a budget, get the Japanese version which has English as a 2nd language. [1/1]
