I'm trying to do that I just a) barely know C, b) have no clue what I'm doing, c) have a brain fart every time I open gbatek. The program would have been a really nice thing I could steal from... now I have to wait for my brain to work again.

If you're able to run the program (-->"which does exactly I want"), then you're able to disassemble the lib for its secrets.
Hopefully it's not obfuscated though, as I *have* encountered a few SDK libs that are obfuscated
