Yes, suppose you could do that. Dual-booting I recommend if you're gaming on Windows, whilst also doing most tasks on Linux.

And I already stated my brother will help me upgrade my PC when I finish this school year

Yes, use Firefox

As a bit of a more specific answer, the more user-base Firefox has to counter the gigantic market that Chromium based Browsers have (which is basically all other browsers), the better. I really like Firefox, and while ad-blockers are trying to update to Manifest V3, I prefer the better compatibility that Mozilla will keep for the sake of making exploring internet less insufferable lol

You guys can use Firefox, and I can use Edge. We're supposed to live in an environment where we can be free of our choices, even if Edge probably steals your data for use against Copilot. Honestly, we're in a reality where even if companies were to sell your data... We still use their apps. Minecraft recently had a data breach that got MS in a lawsuit.

As much as I want to adapt to using Firefox/Linux, I simply cannot. There's a bunch of apps that Linux doesn't have support for, with mine being the MSI Center out of all apps. There's no way for me to change my settings with an MSI Laptop since MSI Center for Windows directly connects with the MSI itself and Linux doesn't have an alternative like that. If ppl find sn alternative for my Pulse Gl66 sign me up
