Well there is HexChat for Linux and Windows, but if you happen to not like that, there is Nettalk for Windows, I use that.

For Android... pretty screwed. SimpleIRC is a fork of some other IRC client, but it suffers from the same bugs, so you can't use it with znc in particular.

Edit: I got ninja'd. The clients I mentioned are all native, not web-based, if it matters.

Nobody really uses IRC anymore, the channels are all pretty dead. I'm afraid you're gonna be disappointed if you're trying to use it as a Discord replacement, since most people moved to Discord. I miss the IRC of days gone by.

Just as I thought about asking to friend you on Discord....im not too familiar with IRC chats outside of the ones hosted on here and I don't know where else to go other than Discord

If you don't want to start using Discord then that's okay. Guided is another better option. But the worst thing about Guilded? It's owned by Roblox.

Discord did have changed through the years of me having it definitely. It's good that you're sticking to it though. But it did surprise me a little especially considering that I've just met you and I still had plans to get to know you more. You seem like an awesome fella!

I don't know what could be your problem with the app though: Outside of the mobile client getting worse and locking stuff behind Nitro (Nitro is still the same price though unlike X's Premium feature), what could be your problem with the app?

It would be the number of features locked behind Nitro—specifically, the 5MB upload limit. 'Makes it a pain when sharing files. And the concept of locking further customization for a messaging platform behind payment in general.

Do you so happen to share a bunch of files that require a bunch of MB casually? I dont, but as an indie dev, I could imagine that sharing files and whatnot could be a pain. But at the same time though, that can be circumvented with other apps such as DropBox, OneDrive, or Google Drive. Just pick the one with the most GB as the basic tier and you're good to go.
