Hmm, you've still got boot.3dsx in the SD root? There's really on like two things required for it to work... 1) boot.3dsx in the SD root and 2) something (usually homebrew_launcher_dummy or Download Play iirc) set to title takeover from Rosalina

If it's loading the title instead of HBL then open it, open the Rosalina menu, choose the title takeover open (iirc in Misc?), then save settings
