Perhaps groups should dissolve if they lack activity or don't get x amount of users within a week. Or maybe that would be discouraging. The concept is great, it's just easily spammed

Maybe staff could manually remove completely dead groups every now and then?
The Groups concept does sound interesting in theory – it just doesn't work so great for the most.

I feel like the groups work perfect for the semi-private cheats group and the lgbt groups--there's no way to privatize a thread on accept-only basis without groups, and lgbt topics are always accepted, but might be trolled out of control outside of a tightly watched group. there's a LOT of potential

we might have to go through and discuss trimming certain groups that fit a criteria at some point, because it's overwhelming how many tiny useless ones there are

it's hard to tell, but i think you're trying to tell me not to delete the LGBTQIA+ group?
