Hello, how are you? Yours is a rhetorical question. By now you will know in advance my answer: things happen by themselves, whatever our minds desire or fear. Any emotional reaction of the mind is a waste of psychophysical energy. One must accept, embrace what happens, without anticipating events. Basically, concentrate on doing other things, meanwhile the package will come.😉

I'll have to inform the shop so they can complain at DHL though. DHL packets have insurance up to 500 Euro, so if it doesn't arrive a complaint is needed (rather than accepting and embracing).
Ordered something else today as well… waiting again.

So you already had your answer ready, which I would call normal, in accordance with civilized and customary living. So my advice was unnecessary. But from my "abnormal" point of view, to add to it, I tell you: "a loss is gain, a gain is loss". Nothing like a little shock to awaken from the daily torpor and numbness.😉

You make it sound so easy…
Serious question: Would you simply say: "Okay, I lost 200€, I'll order the same stuff again."

If you wanted a "normal" answer, you should have asked someone else more "normal" than me for advice. That of losing a package almost always is an unfounded, anxious, hysterical fear. With that courier it seems very unlikely. If it were me, I would wait confidently and optimistically; only after the maximum deadline has passed, I would contact the store.

I hope we will return to a more orderly way of things, so this will never happen to you again.

@Nikokaro "Normal" answers are boring. Yours are so much more interesting.
For the most DHL parcels are overnight, rarely two days. More than a week is certainly an alarming deviation.

@Creamu Return to more orderly way of things? That was a good joke! I don't believe in Santa Claus...

Santa Claus would do a better job than the clowns at DHL and he isn't even real.
