Yes! It is profound. That in contemporary popular art we see a common depicition of the eternal nights. I believe this to be a form of hybris, since the roman Ages of Man or the hindustic Yugas imply a cyclical form. In this case it would be foolish to think that subterranean gods can hold power forever.

Iron Age – Hesiod finds himself in the Iron Age. During this age, humans live an existence of toil and misery. Children dishonor their parents, brother fights with brother and the social contract between guest and host (xenia) is forgotten.

During this age, might makes right, and bad men use lies to be thought good. At the height of this age, humans no longer feel shame or indignation at wrongdoing; babies will be born with gray hair and the gods will have completely forsaken humanity: "there will be no help against evil."

These quotes from which book are taken? Would you like to say that this same situation is being repeated today as in the past: "the eternal return of the identical" (Nietzsche)?

The esoteric roman discourse is still dominant. The mediators of important actors seem to communicate a state of panic. This might very well mean that we are slowy approaching the end of the Iron Age/Kali Yuga. If this is true, it is important that the world is brought to order on an esoteric level.

With the advancement of technology, it is important to establish a stable order that will last, for there is not much room for uncontrolled chaos in a world of dangerous technological advencements on multiple fronts. Since reason is not and was never compeling for the populus, the esoteric is at the center of this question.

And what would you propose, that is esoteric? Then remember that, as its name implies, it is a doctrine reserved for an elite of initiates, not to be spread to ordinary people.

Yes. It is not for a larger audiance to understand. The culture makers amoung many institutions, however, can not effort to be ignorant. It's important to understand the roman code and why it was successful and why it was not able to uphold order. The desert endtime-/deathcult of christianity seems to be pretty much destroyed and replaced by lets say the church of peculiars.

Although these seem to be in a real competiton, the deeper truth is that they are different generations of the same dragon and the conflict has real aspects to them but is ultimativly caducean. To keep it short, a new model in relation to the roman celestial gods must be brought to life.

I see. You have a very idealized and optimistic conception of greek-roman gods. If you read ancient sources you will know that those gods were ridiculous caricatures of men: arrogant, selfish, overbearing, greedy, envious, lustful etc. In truth there were some hidden, esoteric religions: Orphism, Hermeticism, Dionysism. Of this, however, I know very little.

I'm not approaching this from a nostalgic viewpoint. What ever needs to be changed to make the system more viable must be changed. It will also have to deal with the realites of life today. If you watch The Matrix movie you see what I mean. It is (as a vast majority of all pop(ular) artworks) an esoteric piece meant as guidance for the unconcious and the concious audiance.

Sorry, Matrix and movies of that kind never appealed to me.
Instead I appreciate Little Nemo, one of the best platform games for NES. 😉

It doesn't really matter. You will find it anywhere, even on the sega genesis or satrun.

We'd better cut it short. The other users are looking toward us annoyed and threatening , and the staff is already coming up with an excuse to ban us...🤣
