Yep. I still play from time to time. I do like XD too but... I dunno, it just felt it didn't hold the same energy Colosseum did.

XD rebalanced so much, but I think it's the lighter tone that ruins it. There was something genuinely interesting about the way Colosseum did everything, but XD tried to be a bit more generically Pokemon

Pokemon XD is one of my favorite names to anything. What does it even mean in the context of the game?

On the cover is a Lugia that's been turned into an "evil" Shadow Pokemon. The bad guys refer to it as Project XD001 I think, which is where the game gets its name

@Chary That is 100% true - the Leader of Cipher (the main antagonists) got a Lugia, and had it experimented upon so it would be turned into a Shadow Pokémon that is completely immune to Purification.

He was going to make it a series of Purification-immune Pokémon, but only got so far as that one Lugia by the game's end. Oh, and the only way to Purify it is by maxing out the Purification Chamber's Tempo (perfect type alignment in each cell).

Oh yeah! I remember that Lugia being a total pain to purify. It's been a super long time since I've played XD so things were a little fuzzy. Thanks
