I agree just because Switch has most it's games today doesn't mean it was bad when it was out. Sort of like the Dreamcast I thought Dreamcast was really good but it bombed sales wise. There aren't many exclusives left for Dreamcast because they were ported to other consoles but you can't say the console was bad because of that it actually shows it had good games that are worthy of ports.

I fully agree with you; in fact, the Wii U will always have value because it's the last console to have Virtual Console (and the only one with DS VC). It also still has Twilight Princess HD and The Wind Waker HD, unlike the Switch.
