XENOBLADE CHRONICLES; DEFINITIVE EDITION HAS A BETTER APPEARANCE CUSTOMISATION MECHANIC THAN CYBERPUNK 2077.

In Cyberpunk, you're stuck with the appearance of whatever gear's got the highest stats (like most RPGs, honestly).
In XC:DE, the appearance of weapons and armour is permanently saved upon obtainment, without needing to save whatsoever.

You want the higher stats, but still want Melia to be in her Resort swimsuit? Can do! Want Shulk and Reyn and Dunban to keep their first outfits, visually? Awesome!
Can ya do that in Cyberpunk? NOPE

Also, since Appearance isn't tied to a single save file (instead being saved to a separate System file), you can save, buy expensive equipment with unobtained Appearances, and reload, and STILL KEEP THE VISUALS.
It does suck that a handful of them are perma-missable, though...

That being these - Hidden Village Sniper (not actual name - spoilers), Murder Knives, Sparrow Blades, Attack Goggles/Frame/Boosters, Power Arms, Freyja Drones. All locked to shops or enemies that change stock or disappear for good after a certain near-endgame plot event.
