Using public wifi and there's multiple of the same SSID available (4 total) but because I'm in range of all (REALLY strong antenna) it randomly swaps between them disconnecting me each time, it's annoying, especially since one of them is actually broken so when it connects to that I have to manually disconnect and reconnect...

You can't make it see different routers with the same SSID via the standard network manager, but you can use something like NetSetMan to view them all and connect to just one. https://www.netsetman.com/en/freeware <

You can also see if there's an option for Roaming Aggressiveness in your wifi card's device properties in Device Manager and set it to as low as it will go (or off, if an option). This will stop Windows from constantly reconnecting to another AP when your signal strength changes

Unfortunately the current wifi adapter I'm using doesn't allow for roaming settings, which is a pain, it's forced by the standard network manager, meaning always roaming, which is why I'm having trouble with this now, it's an old adapter so it pretty much only lets me adjust the radio and frequencies (2.4GHz or 5GHz). Giving that program you suggested a try, hopefully it'll solve the issue!
