I just lost my Test Drive Unlimited save because of this BS and I had 280 hours on it! Why can't they do it right like Nintendo systems where they wait until save is finished to delete old one so that if saving is interrupted you just revert to the last save instead of losing everything?

I assume it's cause Sony games want to avoid more possibilities of "cheating", where in this case you could exit before some kind of autosave to try again, whereas the games want you to deal with the consequences.
