Met a VERY cute girl at the store & was considering talking/hitting on her, she was with her mother, mother was the REALLY annoying know-it-all type always shutting down everything the daughter said with BS arguments, so the girl kept getting low-key pissed but was gentle so instead of making a scene like her mother she'd just go look at random stuff around the store to calm down.

Anyways, I was SO tempted to just walk up to her and start the conversation with "I feel bad for you for having such a mother", but then didn't bother because I remembered how people overreact to anything strangers say in this day and age even if not ill-willed (wasn't a bad mother, just annoying one like most are:P).

Since I couldn't use that icebreaker I couldn't talk to her in general since she was kinda pissed like I mentioned... If only people didn't overreact so much at everything these days, I wouldn't have had a dozen cases of it to deter me from talking to strangers:/

So basically, had I said what I wanted to right then and there, it could have gone anywhere between her laughing and having a talk with me to me getting slapped and having to hear her rant about all the good things about her mother (this has happened twice to me)... People are such wildcards today, don't even know why they can't take a joke!
