Ah... I can deal with it, even if it does make everything look like heavily waxed Legos. =3= I was much more impressed by the look of the original reveal trailer before they showed the gameplay, to be honest, but I get the feeling it'll become more acceptable the more I play, so... it's probably fine.

It looks far better in motion than in still screenshots, imho. I wasn't convinced from the initial screenshots Nintendo released, but the video during the direct and E3 itself gave me a better opinion.

honestly I dont mind it. Not my favorite thing about the game but I think overall the game's going to be great

I like it. The wooden doll characters and enviornments look cute and organic; though I think the blur along the corners is quite excessive.

I'm on the fence about the artstyle itself, it doesn't look quite right to me... something just irks me about it and I can't put my finger on it.

Unlike WW which the cel shading was cute and the expressions made it much better

yes I do think the blur is a bit excessive... but I also remember that the original game had these "square screens" with transitions between one screen to another; they clearly used that to prevent you from seeing stuff that were outside your reach. Switching from that to a straight open world means they had to do something to divert attention I suppose
