Got it recently from ebay. Externally looks legit, but the battery makes me doubt.
Help please.

Yeah, your cart is legit. Usually the fake ones have either no battery, or a battery without a colored rim around it, which yours has.

looks legit to me, there are no hints on the board that would indicate a bootleg, the front of the label also seems to be showing the "imprinted" numbers that bootlegs usually do not have.

EDIT: While batteries are not very common in GBA games (as most games did use eeprom or flash savegame storage), Pokemon Ruby and Saphire do contain a battery for the real time clock in the card.

Ruby/Saphire/Emerald: Flash Storage with a battery for the RTC
Fire Red/Leaf Green: No battery at all, Games don't contain an RTC and use flash storage.
