lmao idk about Transdude, but I was mmooosstly kidding, I have a very basic understanding of BASIC (hah, puns) from that 3DS game that lets you make little games in the language, once you start getting into it you start to realize that yes, coding can be very complicated, but it's not as scary as it seems (Getting something to actually happen when you press a button is a very fun and rewarding experience

Can the system run something so powerful asl VLC Mplayer or FFMPEG? It already has a video player, and used compressed mp4 format which isn't the worst thing.
I suppose the built in one is ok, but it requires a bunch of hassle for anime. FFMpeg is basically as little overhead as possible, so it should probably work.
But if your using mp4 you know there is no soft subs available, they are part of the video. Of course we all know the mkv are supirior vidoe format for anime (I guess) I never really bothered wathcing anime on ps vita. Although i remember psp videos having changable subtitiles (Only in umd movies) I never found a way to actually create videos myself with them to view on the psp. Instead i used a program that converted MKV along with the subtitle files into MP4 If Necessary..... instead i just find the localized dub video and use them instead. It worked out for me during that time.
But again, MP4 is highly compressed format and having mkv files would just use more file size on the storage than you realize that you would have videos the same size as full retail games.
I'm saying that to turn a softsubbed mkv into a hardsubbed mp4 is obnoxious. MP4 is also not terribly well compressed, and h.264 is actually more space efficient.

Well i know h.264 is better. But I guess we have too see "If it can be done"
Why is it obnoxious to convert MKV to MP4? Is there a problem with subtitles?
That certianly won't get much attention
