Has this been dumped? if it has i haven't seen anything any where, and its kind of strange that the us version was released this year when the Japanese version was years ago.
 
Been looking for this everywhere, a few sites claim to have the English version, but it's just the Japanese one.

It's on sale at -50% on the eshop for a total of $26 atm. I'm really hopeful someone will buy and dump it now that it's on sale.
 
lol so nobody dumped it because of the price?:lol: There are $70 games dumped all the time, and for some reason this one isn't?
 
It's on sale on the Nintendo store for $26 (50% off) until January 5th.

No one ripped it last time it went on sale, here's hoping some rips it this time.
 
someone should be able to dump the game and even dump the English bin/cue themselves

I wanna play these on original hardware

..Why would a Switch-only release be on GoG, which only sells PC games.

If this came out on PC, I'd already have it.

Go vote, it may come. And after supposedly waiting 20 years, you could of saved up and bought a Switch by now. Don't get upset when nobody will pirate a certain game for you, beggars can't be choosers.

The game just released on [redacted] (yea, I'm not getting banned by naming the actual piracy site, but it's one of the bigger ones so shouldn't be hard to find).

And by just released, I mean like 5 min ago.

No notification on the front page (yet), so you'll have to actually go to the game's page to see if you're on the right site (it has both the EU/US version and the JP version as separate downloads).

Came here just to confirm it, someone managed to post it on their request queue last month and they delivered yesterday. I just booted it up to test and it's legit!

Yea... that was me who got it on their request queue.

And me that donated the money for them to buy it (while it was on sale for less than $25 a few weeks ago).

I actually am interested in trying to get these running on an actual TG16 emulator, or even original hardware.

So... I've been digging into the files.

The game is actually in HCD/OGG/BIN format (2 BIN files).

This is, I assume, great if you want to run the game on a PSP, which I understand uses HCD format for TGCD games, but I can not find any PC emulators that can read the format, nor any virtual disk drives that can mount the disc from the HCD file (except maybe hugoexpress, but I can't find a prebuilt release of it, and I don't know how to compile it from it's source on github, so I can't test that, and I think the formatting of hugo's HCD files is different).

I've tried manually converting the info from the HCD into a CUE sheet, but the HCD files list the file locations via sector data, while CUE sheets list the file locations by timestamp... So I have no way translate the INDEX and PREGAP settings for the CUE sheet. I've tried using the values from the JP TGCD release of the game (I've only been working with CF1 for now) sourced from both a valid CUE sheet and a TOC file (which had different values, for some reason), but it's become obvious that the translation changed things enough that those values aren't valid anymore, and all my attempts to get things working have failed.

If anyone knows where I can look to contact people more knowledgeable about TGCD game modding and such that might be able to help me build the CUE sheet for the games, I'd appreciate it. Would be absolutely amazing to get these translations on original hardware (not even mentioning how a not needing to run these through the Switch would eliminate all the stuttering and slowdowns you get running this on Eden or Ryubing).
