Hi Everyone!
The other day I was messing with my hex editor trying to get it to go to the right offset, right position, right format, etc etc and I wondered... Why hasn't someone made a tool that can do this for me? An (albeit quick) Google search gave me no results, so I rolled up my sleeves and dusted off my python installation. It's very barebones at the moment, but it was made with ease and simplicity in mind. It's not about not being able to use a hex editor. I personally found it a little hard to start but relatively simple afterward. However, I know that a LOT of people just don't want to mess with it. So I made the 3DS Applet Color Editor (3DS-ACE). It's not supposed to be fancy, it's supposed to be simple. Something a hobbyist could use without having to look up a thousand tutorials. All you have to do is dump the home menu's CIA, extract and decompress it with a tool called HMRT, and from there it's basically drag-and-drop.
If this helps even one person customize their home screen the way they like it, then I don't care how redundant it is
