Hi

I'm using BlueMSX-Wii 3b and the menu is loading into 480p mode on my CRT and I'm trying to figure out how to get it to load in 480i. Anyone know?

Thanks,
John

Fixed - I used the dol in the thread below and configured the XML attributes for each game.

Spoke too soon. The games (tested with MSX 1) are loading into 240p mode but the sound is very choppy and laggy.

Here's an example of the XML:

<Game Title="1942">
<CommandLine>/machine MSX /rom1 1942.zip</CommandLine>
<Settings Display240p="true"/>
<ScreenShot>1942-1.png</ScreenShot>
<ScreenShot>1942-2.png</ScreenShot>
</Game>

Also tried with this pre-packaged version:

Same sound issue. I'm using a component cable output to a Sony BVM so perhaps it's a video mode issue.

Did you ever fix it?

I have the same problem. I think it's a PAL Wii issue.

I have the same problem I use a version that doesn't have sound issues—or maybe it's because I launch it via WiiFlow. The thing is, from what I've read regarding PAL Wiis and WiimSX, even though it displays in 240p on CRTs, the emulator actually runs at 50Hz instead of 60Hz. I don't know how to avoid this; I set the CRT I use to an NTSC video signal, though I'm not sure if that actually fixed the problem. Even so, I don't have any audio issues. I'm really busy with other projects right now, but as soon as I get back to the MSX emulator, I can check which version it is and send you the emulator itself.
