They weren't pictures, they were links. Or pictures of links, neither one of those things are allowed on PUBLIC THREADS. I never said anything about DMs

Hey all! Registered just to start posting in this thread. I too have been searching for a 0% unlocked save file for use but haven't been able to find anything that really satisfied me. Ideally I would want something with all of the network characters unlocked but nothing else purchases or earned. No red coins or ticket shop items, I'd like to earn the tickets and things myself (yes I know, the grind is apparently awful, but I want the satisfaction, it's what keeps me playing). It may still require the completion of ONE (1) Grand Prix, but I'm not sure. TO BE CLEAR this is not a request for DLC or any other paid content, simply an app or app.sav file with the network character flags set.

If you're a kind soul, here's how I think you can help. I and others would greatly appreciate it!
  1. If you're a PC player, turn off cloud sync on Steam and backup your local save files. Start a new game and optionally complete one Grand Prix (collecting as few red coins as possible if you please, but beggars can't be choosers ;)) and unlock the network characters. Post the app.sav here, it should work for Switch emulators by simply removing the .sav extension. I'm not entirely sure how this process would look and if that would get access to all the network characters, but it should be something like that.
  2. Alternatively, I started picking at decrypting the .sav files. Since the game is in Unreal Engine, it does appear as if there's a somewhat standardized way of writing save data to files and app.sav is an indication that it was likely done in this way. I'm not a UE expert though. I found a topic on GameBanana RE: "Extracting the files for Sonic Racing: Crossworlds" which has an AES256 ending in -E798. This likely isn't the correct key anymore as of 1.31 but if anyone has access to the .exe and methods to crack a new key it's my hope that the file can simply be decrypted and the flags can be set with a hex editor (or if we're really lucky it'll be JSON maybe? there are also UE Save Editor tools out there that attempt to work with this stuff as well).
I'm afraid I don't have the time or resources to continue tackling point number 2 right now and it may be another 2-3 months before I get the chance, even then, no guarantees. Maybe that's enough thread for someone else to start pulling ...

Lastly I'm attaching (hopefully, I'm still a new user) an app.sav file I found while trawling the internet. To my tastes, it's the best 0% yet. It has all network characters unlocked (including Arle!) and only the first 3 GP completed with a handful of red coins. Unfortunately it does appear as if everything has already been purchased, however. Some may find that a bonus.

Poste die app.sav-Datei hier. Sie sollte auch auf Switch-Emulatoren funktionieren, indem du einfach die .sav-Endung entfernst. Ich bin mir nicht ganz sicher, wie dieser Vorgang genau aussieht und ob du damit Zugriff auf alle Netzwerkcharaktere erhältst, aber es sollte in etwa so funktionieren.
  2. Alternativ habe ich angefangen, die .sav-Dateien zu entschlüsseln. Da das Spiel in der Unreal Engine läuft, scheint es eine Art Standardmethode zum Speichern von Daten zu geben, und die Datei app.sav deutet darauf hin, dass dies wahrscheinlich so geschehen ist. Ich bin allerdings kein UE-Experte. Ich habe einen Thread auf GameBanana gefunden: „Extracting the files for Sonic Racing: Crossworlds“, in dem ein AES256-Schlüssel mit der Endung -E798 erwähnt wird. Dieser Schlüssel ist wahrscheinlich ab Version 1.31 nicht mehr gültig, aber falls jemand Zugriff auf die .exe-Datei und Methoden zum Knacken eines neuen Schlüssels hat, hoffe ich, dass die Datei einfach entschlüsselt und die Flags mit einem Hex-Editor gesetzt werden können (oder, mit etwas Glück, ist es vielleicht sogar JSON? Es gibt auch UE-Save-Editor-Tools, die versuchen, mit solchen Daten zu arbeiten).
Ich fürchte, mir fehlen momentan Zeit und Ressourcen, um Punkt 2 weiter zu bearbeiten, und es kann gut sein, dass ich erst in zwei bis drei Monaten dazu komme. Selbst dann gibt es keine Garantie. Vielleicht ist das ja ein Anstoß für jemand anderen, das Thema weiterzuverfolgen …

Abschließend hänge ich (hoffentlich bin ich noch ein neuer Benutzer) eine app.sav-Datei an, die ich im Internet gefunden habe. Meiner Meinung nach ist es die beste 0%-Version bisher. Alle Netzwerkcharaktere sind freigeschaltet (einschließlich Arle!) und nur die ersten drei GP sind abgeschlossen, außerdem gibt es ein paar rote Münzen. Leider sieht es aber so aus, als wäre bereits alles gekauft. Manche sehen das vielleicht sogar als Vorteil.

Yes, just remove .sav and replace only the app file. I don't know much about JKSV to answer more specifically than that.

It appears to have come from PC because it has the .sav extension, but as I mentioned in the previous reply, just remove that and overwrite only the app file and that should work for Switch. Make sure to backup your data first just in case. I'm not sure if it has all of the cars, I haven't inspected it too closely yet, you'll have to verify for yourself.

Thanks, its work! Only Megaman and Protoman dont have, for tem need the DLC in Nsp right?
