No, it was not "obvious", because the page only mentioned .18. It didn't say one single thing about any other version. I do not appreciate being treated like an idiot just because I know how English works better than programing. Nothing on the page said anything about .15. If he wanted to address earlier versions too, he should have said so. Also, I looked all over, and there was no mention of where to download superfw-sd.gba or to convert it from another file. If you you are going to make something for others to use, you need to include thorough, precise, and clear instructions that anyone can use, even if they have never done this before.

I mean if you couldn't update from .18 to .19 why would you be able to update from an even older version?

It could have been a bug specific to .18 for all I know. I have seen things like that before, where something was easier to update from an older version than a more recent one. Second Life has done that a few times.

From the documentation, which is linked on the Github download page:
"Download the superfw-sd.fw (if you have a Supercard SD) or superfw-lite.fw (if you have a Supercard Lite) file and place it in the SD card. Create a copy of this file and rename it to superfw.gba."

I agree that the "Updating from v0.18" wording is poor, but the actual install process is well explained, I think.

Ok, I found the part you were talking about. I must have missed it the first time. Sorry about that.

Ok, I updated the firmware, and it still can't handle my Pokemon or Zelda .sav files

I implied about your attitude, not about your knowledge, because SuperFW is a one person, non-profit hobby project that you treat like something you paid for and are entitled to.
If you feel so and are unhappy with documentation and/or hassle you had to go through aftery buying a card, then it would be more appropriate to contant card seller/manufacturer.
We help here each other and are happy to do so without blaming anyone for not knowijg something. It's just entitlement that shows through your texts and makes me wonder, why so angry.

My dad was a computer programmer, and this was the sort of thing he would complain about all the time when I was a kid. My mom, however, was a history buff. I'm not sure what I inherited. I don't mean to sound ungrateful. If anything, this job looks too big for one man to do alone, and it is impressive what he has done if it has been all by himself. But maybe he shouldn't be by himself. With a workload this heavy, maybe he should get some help. Many hands make light work, and testers are especially important for making sure things are ready for the public.

Looking at google, it said that sometimes the saves can be effected by the goomba sub-emulator, and that finding it and updating it can help. But when I put the sd chip in my computer, it can't find goomba, or even anything with the alternative names google listed. Could installing a new goomba fix my problem? And if so, how do I do it right?

Cheats are indeed broken, sorry about that!
I found this while working on an unrelated thing, lemme fix that in the next release!

Edit: keep finding more bugs :D Found some issue with SRAM-based games (the IGM menu won't allow to save the SRAM, there might be ramifications to this). I suspect there might be more bugs since the superchis support did shuffle things a bit. Sorry about that!

So is Save State when loading save after device power off. It freezes the games.

Any way that RTC emulation can be improved for more Pokémon rom hacks?

v0.20 is out, just a couple of fixes.
You guys are very demanding for how little you read :)
Saving the settings doesn't seem to work with v0.20 with a superchis prime card. It can't read previously saved settings and every time I save the new settings, a new folder called ".superfw" gets created but there is an error.
Update: it also can't read GBA games or firmware updates anymore. "Error: could not load ROM"
Update2: seems like something went wrong during the flash process. In the DS flashing tool, it said that it had an erronous checksum and after flashing it with the DS tools, it can load GBA games again.

How do I get cheats to work? I have them enabled in the menu. I downloaded them from the SuperFW cheat repository and put them in .superfw/cheats, but any and all games just show that they have no cheats even though they do. I've confirmed the game codes with the file name.
I still don't seem to be able to use cheats in the latest 0.20 version... What am I doing wrong?

hello.

Advance Wars 2 Pal didn't work.
I try 3 games who have (NO TILT PATCHED).

Thanks for you very had work for this crappy linker (but was a good nds linker, before the release of the very first R4, with a Flashme and pathcing .nds roms).

I will test your futures upgrades :p

Yes, you are right! Cheats they seem to work, thanks!

I have a bigger issue though:

Whenever I enter the In Game Menu, games start to have graphical glitches when I resume... It happens in all games or most games... :
