Traded in some games I bought for cheap at a game store and bought DB Sparking Zero for Switch and Kirby Air Riders NS2. Both have surprisingly high price tags.

Fortunately, I heard that replacing the whole top Vita 1k panel, with the screen being a part of it, isn't that expensive for a DIY project. As for the back panel, I'm not so sure.

But wow. It's in rough shape. This is a reminder that protective glass and cases are a thing... especially when treated without any care. I hope you will treat it with care!
Even with all those scratches the picture quality still looks very vibrant and colorful, miss that from the OG NS1 and NS2, NS2 is an improvement, but still not as good as OLED NS1.

I just made a set of drawers for my 3d Printer table.

After get the wood cut, took me almost 9 hours to finish them, put the rails and correct the level was the most difficult part.

After some hours of level the doors and make them even and new knobs at 1:10 am I am ready to sleep

Well, after two trips to Homecenter (do not ask me why) now I added a fourth filament rack to my printer's table! now the drawers are full

Oneplus 15 - First non-Samsung or Pixel android phone I've ever owned. Been eyeing Oneplus for a couple of years, but the 13 wasn't quite it.

Just wish they didn't gimp the cameras compared to its bigger brother, the Oppo Find X9 Pro.

It is called Pentomino calendar and it is a different puzzle for each day of the year for 27 years

There are 10 Pentominos and you should put all of them flat on the board, leaving uncover the month, day and day of week of the current date or a date you like.

Unfortunate timing. Please take note of the recent scandal with anti-downgrade systems that make use of e-fuses. And yes, I know it's not a Switch, but a phone from a company that started out by endorsing custom ROMs left, right and centre. It's crazy.

I don't know if 15 in particular is effected, but still... be careful when updating it.

Edit: Here's more info.

Couldn’t care less about the downgrading. It’s how they went about it that’s the problem. The claim is that, at least on Color OS, there’s an exploit that impacts firmwares older than a specific version, and they made the call to remove accessibility to those firmwares. I don’t regret my purchase. The timing sucks, but I don’t think this was intentionally malicious. Just poorly handled.

This currently does not seem to impact OxygenOS? Edit: It does on some devices? I’m still reading about it and taking more information in daily. I’ll be holding off on updates for a bit, just to be safe.

Edit 2: They’re walking it back, and some reports are coming out that they’re replacing devices in the Asian markets that were effected. Claiming it as a “temporary solution”. Hm, they know they dun goofed.

Y'know, owning a physical camera means you're not subjected to your phone all the time. I don't like phones for anything that has functions outside of the basics due to being so inconvenient to use, plus it doesn't feel the same without a pocket camera. For many years, I have used cameras from Fujifilm, Sony, and now Canon of all things—I grew up with a DSLR throughout my teens without a phone to record YouTube videos. So call me a luddite all you want, but I don't want to be subjected to how technology in the current decade has become locked to subscriptions in terms of features, forcing you to pay extra for the product you bought; a lack of innovation; the fueling of AI to compromise a person's privacy; and a lack of ease of use (especially touchscreens which the elderly struggle with).

I would like to present this Canon PowerShot SX220 HS camera from 2011. I'm actually quite liking this since it's the only cheap camera I can find that does 1080p video (as opposed to my F300EXR, which does 640x480 in AVI format), plus it's got a 12.1 megapixel CMOS sensor and better build quality all around where it's not going to get scuffed up—it's a nice pocket camera to have; I wish all of them were still like this.

That's a much better pocket camera than I currently have, which is a bit older than this one. Mine can only do VGA video, is a total crapshoot for auto exposure and focus, and has very visible chromatic aberration. As I often take pictures of things at my home, it's not great.

I might add this to my list of cameras to consider. To be honest, what currently drives my need for a dedicated camera is the lack of (reliable) camera support on any PinePhone Linux distro I could think of.

Still, provided that the next mobile Linux offering, Jolla Phone (2), ends up being reliable, I will probably be using its own camera instead. As much as I like to use dedicated devices for the things phones replace nowadays, cameras are the least interesting (and probably the priciest) use case to me...

Mine's alright, but still has one slight quirk. Even if I'm in the best lighting, I still need to manually adjust the levels in editing. I might just invest into a lightbox which makes taking photos of electronics and whatever on display a breeze.

Some examples of things I took photos of (had to downscale the photos by 2,000 pixels because of GBAtemp's upload limitations.)

I recommend looking for one of the best brand of cameras; such as Fujifilm, Canon, Pentax or Sony. If you search up the camera model, you should be able to find some video & photo examples to know what you're getting.

Those are pretty nice zoomed shots, but I do see prominent chromatic aberration.

I'm aware of at least one such site. Problem is, as I mentioned earlier, good cameras aren't really cheap to come by, considering I'm not sure how much I'd really make use of them... and even if good deals tend to show up, I am not knowledgeable enough for good judgement.

Don't need one right now, but it's handy to have and cheap enough at £5.

Reading a math paper they made reference to a 1577 Spanish book called «Engaños a ojos y vistas, y diversion de trabajos mundanos fundada en licitos juegos de manos» (Deceptions in Plain Sight, hand games and mundane jobs) by Pablo Minguet E. Irol and I got couriosous so look for the book and even an almost 450 years old book is on the catalog, on the pages 58 & 59 from the 8th edition was a Burr game called «Juego de enlazar seis palitos» (the game of to link six sticks)

So I used BurrTools to create the pieces described on the book

and then generate the STL files print them on my 3D printer, I am just thinking on this guy on 1577 creating a game and another random guy using his instructions 450 years later and using «witchcraft» to create the game from plastic threads.
WONDERFUL TIMES we live on.
