Ok, so here's that update post, Japan trip schwag haul episode 2.
Ta-da!

But I was right ... this one's not in the potentially collectible, "1% survivor" condition like the N3DSLL I posted yesterday. (But this cost a lot less.)

But who cares about a box of you're just gonna mod the console and play the snot out of it, right? So let's move on ...
Ok....

And here it is. As I expected, this one's genuinely used, but used well. It has some hand crud and dust here and there like any used handheld, but except for some very, very fine hairlines on the back that I couldn't even take pictures of, no scratches that I can see. It just needs a very meticulous cleaning. (This psvita came from a Sofmap store, which is much more a 'find a bargain' place like Hard-Off. The 3DS came from a more collector oriented retro shop.) I'd call it very good to excellent condition overall. The screen is perfect.

Joysticks look good but down in the creases around action buttons and seams ... yuck. But I can remedy that.

Oh and yeah, charger was in there too.

Since this is a 3G model, i.e. PCH-1100, the now useless 3G module inside can be replaced with a PSVSD, which I've already ordered.
$120 for this PSVita, so I feel like I made out pretty good here.
From the Nintendo Museum gift shop, a couple more items. These keychains come on two sets, early era and later era Nintendo consoles. You don't know before opening what you will get, only which set it comes from. I got the SuFami and DSPhat. I was hoping for the GameCube, but this is fine. These cost about $12 each.

Last photo, from the Nintendo Museum. It's not perfectly vertically aligned, sorry I didn't take the photo. But it makes for a helluva lock screen on your phone. (Yeah, it's real stained glass.)
