Even though this is a Wii Homebrew project, I'm sharing it here in Wii U because I only tested it on Wii U (vWii) and it works great.
Link: https://wiimart.org/
Requirements:
-Homebrew Channel
-YAWWME (Yet Another Wii Wad Manager Mod Mii Edition)
-IOS56.wad (Wii/vWii)
-WiiMart.wad
-IOS80.wad (optional, install if you want to download titles to the SD Card)
-Save Game Manager GX (recommended to back up your previous saves)
Installation:
-Download IOS56 for vWii and one of the WiiMart WADs (depending on your system Wii/WiiU)
-Use YAWWME as it is the recommended WAD manager for it's brick protection.
-Install the patched IOS and the WiiMart WAD you chose, remember that you can overwrite the WADs most of the time. Press + on both WADs to select them, and then A to show the options, then A again to install.
Heads Up! If you have had any game purchases from the official Wii Shop Channel, backup their save files before using and downloading games with WiiMart.

Error -1022 or -1029?
Press - to mark the WAD for uninstallation, press A two times to uninstall. Now try to install it again.Heads Up! If you have had any game purchases from the official Wii Shop Channel, backup their save files before using and downloading games with WiiMart.
