how to fix error code 0xffe and have homebrew apps working?

Whenever i open up my switch, it shows me:

A fatal error occured when running Atmosphere.
Program ID : 4200000000000010
Error Desc: std::abort() called (0xffe)

Report saved to /atmosphere/fatal_errors/report_000000000a3d6772.bin
Press POWER to reboot,

And i have found that removing the folder 4200000000000010 from the contents folder on my sd card lets it boot up, but only the games and hb menu works. Tinfoil, Retroarch, and such do not work. Is there any fix to this?

You have to update those homebrew apps.

sorry for the really late response, i was working a lot. but when i update those apps they still don't work. for example i updated tinfoil but it still won't open. but i will keep trying and maybe even update atmosphere and my switch.
