    I think you are missing the proper ES patch for for launching the games? look in the ReiNx/titles (if using reinx) or in the atmosphere/titles folder(if using atmosphere+hekate). AFAIK there should be a folder ending with 33. If it isn't there, get the ES patching folder for your 5.x firmware...

    @pausuri Update patching still doesn't work! The newest Tinfoil will install the update but it will still need an systemupdate!! This Tinfoil is the newer one in the OP. I think this problem is a limitation of the patching method and not a bug of Tinfoil, to be honest. from OP: KEEP IN MIND...

    that is true! but keep in mind that lots of games only pretend to need a higher firmware than is actually needed for playing the game. the key revision or "key generation" is the important part here! So there could be games that are released today but are still using older key rev. and thus...

    did you change every digit to zeroes? and did you install any updates? since updates will always nag you for updating...

    the album makes your switch crash? did you already install the nsp? normally on SX os the album would load the homebrew menu, I quess?
