    The one I got working was immediately prior to that one: "New Super Mario Bros EUR Wii iND Incl Copy Protection Patch" - The main.dol had to be patched manually.

    Exactly the same situation I was in. Download (Google) WBFS Manager 3.0. It'll format the USB stick for you AND let you transfer the Mario ISO across to it! My second piece of advice is to download (Google, again!) NeoGamma r7 or r8beta CHANNEL (It'll let you operate through a Wii Channel...
