    Hardware External hard drive help

    I need help with my external hard drive. For whatever reason my computer doesnt recognize its formatted, even though it has my music and backups on it. Is there any way to fix this? I dont want to reformat a one terabyte hard drive. And by the way, its a simpledrive.

    What os and security settings are you using? If its vista, try running it in compatible mode windows xp (service pack 2) by gong to properties (on r4cce)>compatibility> check the compatability mode box. It works fine on vista for me, but you could also try running it as an administrator. Hope...
