It was translated by Plus Alpha translations (who also did 8, 4 and 5). DQ6 was half translated by them and half by 8-4 (you can tell the parts they did, since it was a more straightforward translation.)
well to be fair, the empty spots are purple, you don't see they're pink until you actually get one
In Japan they got Iwata as a Spotpass and he had all the puzzles completed. That was for Japan's one year anniversary of the 3DS. I wonder if they'll do the same for North America next month as...
I would have problems too where it would tag for Mario Kart, but not for Mii Plaza. Probably since the connection cut off early.
I removed all StreetPass stuff except Mii Plaza and it works fine again.
I've done that too. But if you check on Nintendo's site to see if a particular 3DS is ambassador, using the old one's serial number will still say it's eligible while the new one won't.
3 as long as you don't take the middle route (don't skip room 12, since you have to do it twice)
Speaking of which, the Soccer Hat should be 2nd run, but you can get it on a later run too if you didn't do it right away
From Japanese wiki:
First Quest 2nd run
19 Wario's Cap
First Quest 3rd run
1 Boo Hat
8 Fox Hat
17 Pizza Hat
18 Red Ribbon
19 Dark Lord Helmet
Secret Quest 2nd run
35 Waluigi's Cap
Secret Quest 3rd run
1 Yellow Yoshi Hat
It's by the same author as the DQ9 save editor, so the code is similar. But it seems to have a weird problem like the DQ6 editor in that it doesn't decompile correctly and I can't use the same tools as I did back on the DQ9 one.
