    Of course not. I was going to solder a spare flex cable prior to that. Put together, boot it up to the atmosphere, disconnect the chip and put the nand back. No obsession at all. This is the only way to mod newer systems, since not patched units are hard to find.

    Really? It took me like 15 minutes to install it from scratch. As per my understanding, the chip is required only to boot it, later on, it does nothing. My plan is to create emunand so nand can be swapped on the go, however, I am worrying that such steps can burn it.

    Heya, I wonder if somebody did an hwfly hot-swap on Switch. Is it possible to boot the console with the chip installed, then remove it and boot another console with the same chip?
