    :O They made it like that so my girlfriend can get into other genres of gaming (she's a huge pokemon lover, and it's hard to get her to play anything else :P ) I like it. And I'll have her playing SMT games soon enough :P

    MCBoot doesn't allow for burned PS1 games IIRC. A USB drive is way, way, way too slow to be a good option. Internal HDD works best, like the poster above me said. There's also ESR for loading backups from disc. Also, last I checked, MCBoot is not possible to install on a non-hacked console...

    I support the cleanrip+FAT32 suggestion. Never had a problem ripping a bunch of games with it, single layer or dual.
