Gaming Hacking Splatoon 3 - accessing more functionality and modes without a Nintendo account

You can't. It's designed that way likely to push you getting a Nintendo Switch Online subscription, and there isn't anything you can do realistically that will make the outcome more favorable.

Gaming Hacking Splatoon 3 - accessing more functionality and modes without a Nintendo account

No, it's impossible to get free access to Nintendo Switch Online, especially with high likelihood of getting a console banned if one is not careful enough. The best you can do legally is get free trials that are given out with certain games or when it's your first time to use this service...

ROM Hack Translation Famicom Detective Club 1+2 Remake .msb (.mes) text files [SOLVED]

I finally opened up pages for both games on the Spriters Resource (they have not been created before my uploads), by uploading the HOME Menu Icons (English/International versions only): The Missing Heir: https://www.spriters-resource.com/nintendo_switch/famicomdetectiveclubthemissingheir/ The...

ROM Hack Translation Famicom Detective Club 1+2 Remake .msb (.mes) text files [SOLVED]

Good to know. Your timing of starting this project is pretty good, as this was started after Emio - The Smiling Man: Famicom Detective Club was announced 7/17. We'll have to wait until that game releases to find out what method needs to be used for the text. As for the... Video: WebM format...

ROM Hack Translation Famicom Detective Club 1+2 Remake .msb (.mes) text files [SOLVED]

I think I can help out here too, since I also have access to both games' files. But I'm more likely to focus on ripping the audiovisual assets (they'll be posted to the Spriters Resource if they are not already uploaded over there). It would be a fun miracle to get more Nintendo-published games...

Nintendo Switch firmware 18.0.0 has been released

I have already encountered one so far, being Princess Peach: Showtime! (published by Nintendo, developed by Good Feel ). There will probably be more games requiring firmware 17.0.0 or later over time.

Nintendo Switch firmware 18.0.0 has been released

There seem to not be any for now, but updates to base games sometimes require newer firmware versions than what the base game requires.

Nintendo Switch firmware 18.0.0 has been released

I already seen that. I was talking about removing support for sigpatches completely, including through loading package3 via Hekate such that only a fork will continue to work.

Nintendo Switch firmware 18.0.0 has been released

Has such a change/conmit already appeared, or it will appear later in the future? If that's the case, I guess relying on a Atmosphere fork or emulation may be the only way to run game backups (dumping their contents should still work, unless it's with software signed with at least the master key...

Nintendo Switch firmware 18.0.0 has been released

But looking near the bottom of https://switchbrew.org/wiki/18.0.0 shows that another master key (master_key_11) has appeared, although it didn't increase the burnt fuse count, that which can make any new releases using this key may become challenging since the tools that can dump the keys seem...

Hacking RELEASE Lockpick_RCM payload - Official Thread

Since it's on GitHub, it may be vulnerable to a DMCA takedown since they can affect forks from the original repository unless it was a separate reupload. I specifically mentioned GitLab as it isn't as well known as GitHub is, although it's hosted service is still in the United States. I also...

Hacking RELEASE Lockpick_RCM payload - Official Thread

I've just discovered that the source repository has went down, and there's apparently no other place of getting it to my knowledge so far, so I uploaded the mudkip repository from 5/2023 (supporting 17.0.x firmware) here. I may consider uploading this to my GitLab profile later for backup...

Yuzu emulator shutting down, paying Nintendo 2.4 million in lawsuit settlement

Well, this is no good at first sight. Better hope that forks of Yuzu and Citra can eventually pop up to indirectly continue their development. What a shame to learn about the more private side of the Yuzu developers participating in software piracy by sharing game dumps among themselves and...

ROM Hack Had anyone tried to extract the limited release Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon & the Blade of Light NSP?

That's good to hear. At this point, my focus has shifted away from here, especially since it's not being sold on the Nintendo eShop anymore, and likely having been superseded by Fire Emblem Engage. This is the game we were supposed to get for the 30th anniversary of Fire Emblem, but COVID-19...

Super Mario RPG - How to extract animations

Ooh, this might be interesting to me. What's it called, you know? Maybe you can show me more when you get closer to completion?
