    Well I know someone said they didn't think it would work to put English files on the Japanese rom, but I'm going to give it a try-having nothing better to do and all-and I'll let you know if it does anything for me.

    Has it been determined that sticking the English voice/movie/text files into the Japanese rom doesn't work? I keep seeing it suggested but no one's brought a concrete yes or no out yet.

    I keep getting it it seems to just happen randomly. I'm also using an R4 and this depresses me on so many levels. With luck there will be a firmware release or a re-release of the rom with the problem fixed. Hopefully.

    There haven't been any official announcements that I've seen but IGN lists the US release date as "TBA 2008" so it looks like we're getting closer to a definite release date and that to me is at least confirmation that they WILL release it here.
