    I can't seem to make my JP saves work in the EU version either, could you give some information on how did you do it? I simply renamed the .0 .1 .2 (I have a G6) files to match the EU.nds file.

    The firmware is the problem for sure, I had version 1.0 and it whitescreened on me, no matter how I tried flashing the rom. I updated the firmware to the latest version and now it runs and saves fine. To update the firmware you have to download the latest installation package from here...

    I've never encountered problems that booting into safe mode and running msconfig couldn't solve. Anyway, the gain from disabling it is "only" the hdd space it takes up. (I think it's 20% of the whole partition by default)
