    Done that, left it sit for 5 min+ then removed same results, I've watched a few videos where the magnet stayed in the same place through the whole process.

    downloaded everything needed to install ntrboot on flash cart, ran lumaschainloader to install ntrboot to flash cart, downloaded all files for unmodded 3ds (safeb9sinstaller, boot9strap, lumas 8.1.1, starter kit) renamed safeb9sinstaller.firm to boot.firm placed on root, copied boot9strap files...
