    I heard that once you install " RVL-mios-v5.wad.out.wad" then you cant play normal gc discs anymore? Anybody confirm this? Also, can you play a NTSC backup on a PAL wii using this method? Thanks

    TY TY TY! Finally it works I got dvdx and cios installed and backup channel works perfect One question, if I updated through system settings to latest 3.3 will dvdx and cios cease to function? Or is it that they wont install on 3.3, but will work if they have already been installed? Thanks...

    Running IOS downgrader now Edit: Nope still doesnt work. Meh well nvm, gonna get rid of it and update, reinstall hbc and take it from there

    But wont 0.1 work as you cant install dvdx on 3.3. Btw I just used cios downgrader to 3.2E, tried to install dvdx but doesnt work.

    Ok i just reburnt the disc and same error. Do i need to do the firmware downgrade thing, so far ive done what i said above.

    Hm, i got everything working (finally ) and i put a disc in that i burnt (dvd-r) and started the loader, and i get something like "error set *load of gibberish*" :/ I installed the .wad from the nintendo backup disc and the cios_fix.wad and have version 0.3b of the backup laoder on hbc beta 9...

    Ok i done all the steps in post #1 but im using wad manager 1.3 to install the wad taken from the backup disc, but when i load wad manager it asks me where to get the files from, so i select sd and just gives me "ERROR ret = -1" and reboots my wii. Thanks. Edit: Found stupid problem name the...
